A 43-year-old man has appeared before a special sitting of Navan District Court following the death of a mother of six in Dunshaughlin yesterday.
Anton Mulder, with an address at 93 Maelduin, Dunshaughlin, Co Meath, was charged with assaulting Coleen Mulder, 41, at the same address
He was charged under Section Three of the Non-fatal Offences Against the Person Act.
At the request of gardaí, Judge John Brophy remanded the accused in custody to appear before Dunshaughlin District Court next Tuesday.
Mrs Mulder’s body was found in the bedroom of her home yesterday morning. The alarm was raised by a local doctor who was called to the house to attend to her.
