The British Labour MP, George Galloway, has won £150,000 in libel damages from a newspaper over allegations that he had been in the pay of the ousted Iraqi President, Saddam Hussein.
The award was made by a judge at the High Court in London.
The case centred on a series of articles published last year that were based on the discovery of documents in Iraq by a Daily Telegraph reporter.
The articles alleged that Mr Galloway had made substantial profits from Saddam Hussein's regime.
