Minister for Transport Martin Cullen has rejected as 'completely untrue' suggestions that he had a personal relationship with a Public Relations consultant at the centre of a row over Government contracts.
Speaking on RTÉ Radio, Mr Cullen defended the awarding of a PR contract to Monica Leech's company by the Department of the Environment, when he was the Minister there.
Mr Cullen criticised an article in a Sunday newspaper, which he said - because of the way it was presented - may have given the impression to some people that his relationship with Ms Leech was more than a political or business one.
