A man has appeared in court in Derry charged with the murder of a father-of-four in the city on Tuesday evening.
Paul Andrew McGinley, a chef from Shepherd's Glen in the Waterside area of the city, was charged with the murder of his colleague, Tony McNamee.
Mr McNamee, a 37-year-old kitchen assistant, suffered serious head injuries following a fight outside a bar in Dungiven Road.
He was found in a laneway and taken to Altnagelvin Hospital where he died later.
Mr McGinley was remanded in custody to appear again on 23 December.
Two other men questioned in connection with his death have been released without charge.
