Further tests are to be carried out on the body of a woman found in a river near Tralee this morning, to determine the cause of death.
Gardaí in Co Kerry are treating the discovery of the body as suspicious.
The body of the woman, believed to be in her 30s, was found by a passer-by at Kearney's Bridge at Ballard shortly before 11am this morning.
The area was immediately sealed off and members of the Garda Technical Bureau spent the afternoon technically examining the scene.
The body of the woman, who had been missing from her home in Tralee since Monday, was taken to Tralee General Hospital where a post mortem examination has taken place.
