A redemptorist priest who played a key role in the Northern peace process has been awarded an honorary degree.
Father Alec Reid brokered groundbreaking talks between Sinn Féin, the SDLP and the Irish Government.
He was awarded a Doctorate in Laws by the Higher Educational and Training Council at the Royal Hospital in Dublin.
