The Republic of Ireland under-21 soccer international Graham Stack has been arrested in England in connection with allegations of a sexual assault.
Mr Stack, who is now 22, is a goalkeeper with Premiership side Arsenal.
He was detained over an alleged attack on a woman in Beckenham in Kent in the early hours of last Wednesday.
Another 22-year-old man was also arrested. Both were released on bail pending further inquiries.
Stack is currently on a season-long loan to Millwall.
