Four Frenchmen repatriated from the US detention centre in Guantanamo Bay in Cuba are in custody in Paris awaiting investigations by anti-terrorism judges into alleged links with terror groups.
The men, who returned to France on Tuesday, spent time in Afghanistan where they were arrested by US forces in 2001.
The investigation is the first step toward possible criminal charges.
