A nurse charged with assaulting two patients at Naas General Hospital, one of whom later died, was remanded on continuing bail today.
Noreen Mulholland, 33, of Runabeg Close in Kildare, is charged with two counts of assault causing harm and two counts of administering a substance known to interfere with bodily functions.
The charges relate to two hospital patients - John Gethings, now deceased, and Seamus Doherty - on dates between March and June 2003.
At Naas District Court this morning, Judge Murrough Connellan was told evidence was not yet ready to be heard and put the case back until 13 October.
