A 57-year-old Co Louth man has been remanded for sentence for his role in an attempt to defraud a motor insurance company by making false road traffic accident claims.
Peter Killalea, with addresses at Clocha Tra, Omeath, and Dulargy, Ravensdale, pleaded guilty to attempting to defraud Guardian PMPA by falsely claiming that a genuine road traffic accident had occurred on the 21 February 1996, in the midlands.
Judge Desmond Hogan remanded him on continuing bail for sentencing in November.
