Relatives of many of those who died in the Omagh bombing have told Northern Secretary Paul Murphy they want face-to-face talks with British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
Families of some of those killed in the atrocity have been pressing for a cross-border inquiry.
The Omagh Self-Help and Support Group last night urged Mr Murphy to do more to get co-operation from the authorities in the Republic.
29 people died and more than 200 were injured in August 1998, when a car bomb exploded in Omagh town centre.
