O2 ordered to deliver report on overcharging

The telecommunications watchdog Comreg has ordered the mobile phone company, O2, to deliver a comprehensive report into the overcharging of around 70,000 of its customers through billing errors.

In its report, O2 will have to describe how the over-billing happened.

It will also have to describe why internal safeguards failed to detect the problem and how it will ensure the over-billing will not reoccur.
