Maxine Carr, who is serving a three-year jail sentence in connection with the Soham murders, has pleaded guilty to deception charges at Nottingham Crown Court.
She faces a string of charges in relation to claims for housing benefit, income support and jobseeker's allowance.
She is also accused of lying about her qualifications in job applications.
Ms Carr was jailed for conspiring to pervert the course of justice with Ian Huntley, a former school caretaker who was found guilty of the murder of ten-year-olds, Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman.
She is expected to be released in the next few days on licence.
