Moroccan charged over Madrid bombings

Spain has provisionally charged a Moroccan and arrested two others in connection with last month's Madrid train bombings, according to judicial sources.

Police have said most of the extremists believed responsible for the attacks in which 191 people died and 1,900 others were wounded, were either in custody or dead.

Spain has so far formally detained 17 people accused over the bombings.

They include 13 Moroccans, two Indians, a Syrian and a Spaniard.
