The British government has confirmed that a report by the retired Canadian judge, Peter Cory, into four controversial murders in the North will be released by the end of the month.
The report follows Judge Cory's investigation into the killings of solicitors Pat Finucane and Rosemary Nelson, the Portadown Catholic Robert Hamill and the LVF leader Billy Wright.
Northern Ireland Office officials said their families would receive copies of the report 24 hours before it is released at the House of Commons.
