Gunmen in the Haitian capital Port-au-Prince have opened fire on a rally by thousands of people celebrating the departure of the former president, Jean-Bertrand Aristide.
At least six people have been killed, including a Spanish television journalist.
Eyewitnesses said members of a pro-Aristide militia fired into a crowd from a nearby slum.
US and French troops were at the march in an effort to prevent clashes between the two groups.
