Thousands of people have marched on the streets of the capaital of Haiti, Port-au-Prince, to demand that the President of the country, Jean-Bertrand Aristide steps down.
Despite police protection, there were scuffles and stone-throwing as Aristide supporters tried to block the rally.
Police used tear gas to break up the march and are reported to have arrested ten people.
