A letter written by a Titanic passenger that was used as a bookmark for years, has been sold at auction for almost €19,500 to a Co Dublin pub owner.
The short letter is still in its envelope bearing a penny stamp and postmarked only three days before the liner struck an iceberg and sank on its maiden voyage in 1912.
The letter was bought by the owner of An Poitin Stil in Rathcoole where it will be hung on the wall.
