Two held in PSNI Belfast anti-terror move

Two people have been arrested in Belfast as part of an international anti-terrorism investigation.

The man and woman were detained by the Police Service of Northern Ireland under terrorism legislation.

The woman is believed to be a nurse working among overseas staff at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.

Police would give few details about the arrests.

A spokeswoman said the man and woman were both foreign nationals and were being questioned about serious crime as part of an internationalinvestigation.
