There has been a powerful blast in the Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh this evening. So far there are no reports of injuries.
The origin of the blast is not immediately known but it's thought to have occured close to residential area for diplomats.
The explosion comes amid US and other governments of possible imminent terror attacks in Saudi Arabia.
Earlier, Washington closed its embassy in Riyadh and consulates in Jeddah and Dhahran following the receipt of what it termed 'credible information' that attacks were planned.
