A 32-year-old farm labourer has been jailed for life at the Central Criminal Court for the murder of a young mother of two.
The woman was killed in the Slieve Bloom mountains in Co Laois almost three years ago.
James Conroy, from Derrycarrow, Camross in Co Laois, had earlier pleaded guilty to murdering 28-year-old Susan Prakash between 16 and 17 December 2000, at Monicknew.
She had suffocated on her own blood after she was badly beaten.
