Refugee Council concerned over Mosney

The Irish Refugee Council has expressed concern about the increasing number of asylum seekers being housed at the Mosney Centre in Co Meath.

The Department of Justice has confirmed that an additional 90 people are to be sent to Mosney, taking the total living there to 840.

Peter O'Mahony of the Refugee Council has said he is extremely concerned at the latest development as the centre was initially designed to cater for only 500 people.
