Swedish police arrest new suspect

Police in Sweden have arrested a new suspect in connection with the murder a fortnight ago of the Foreign Minister, Anna Lindh.

The new arrest comes as the Chief Prosecutor announced that the case against another man who had been held in custody, Per Olof Svensson, was being dropped.

Mr Svensson has been released.

Ms Lindh was stabbed while shopping in a department store in the centre of Stockholm.

She died the following day from her wounds.
