Renewed appeal for information on murder

Gardaí are renewing their appeal for assistance from the public in theirinvestigation into the murder of Raonaid Murray on the 4th of September 1999, at Silchester Crescent, Glenageary.

Despite an extensive and ongoing investigation no person has so far beencharged in connection with her murder. A reward of €190,000 has been pledged, and will be made available to any person who provides information leading to the prosecution of the culprit.

Investigating Officers would like speak to anyone who may have informationbut has not yet come forward. In particular, anybody who can say where Raonaid was from approximately 11.20pm when she left Scott's Public House to approximately 12.30am when her body was found. But anyone with any information, no matter how trivial, should come forward, the investigation team said.
