The US company suing the Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Fund has said it will donate any money it may win in the case to charity.
The Franklin Mint will not say whether this will include organisations affected by the Fund's decision to freeze grants to its 120 beneficiaries.
The Mint is lodging a $25 million counter-suit after a failed legal bid by the memorial fund two years ago to stop it producing Diana dolls and other memorabilia.
The latest developments have raised questions about whether the Fund should have embarked on the court battle.
