A Co Cork farmer who operated a manufacturing plant to produce an illegal animal medicine has been given a five-month suspended jail sentence.
He has also been ordered to pay €6,000 in fines and penalties.
Killian Lynch, 51, from Macroom, Co Cork, claimed his mixture gave amazing results.
However, the potion was so corrosive it burnt through carpets in the cars of the Department of Agriculture officials who seized it.
