Hamiltons' accuser found guilty

A woman who falsely accused former Tory MP Neil Hamilton and his wife Christine of sexually assaulting her has been found guilty of attempting to pervert the course of justice.

29-year-old mother of four Nadine Milroy-Sloane will be sentenced next month.

She had complained to police in May 2001 that she had been attacked at a flat in Essex.

It later emerged that she had never met the couple and invented the story to make money.

Two days before the alleged attack, she went to see publicist Max Clifford with a story about the Hamiltons being involved in a vice ring and a tax scam.
