William McCarthy, who is 96 years old and had been missing from Templeogue Wood in Dublin since yesterday, has been found safe and well.
The 96-year-old had been missing since he left his home yesterday morning to travel into town.
He often travels into the city to have lunch in Wynne's Hotel in Abbey St, and arrives home by bus at 6pm.
However, William failed to return home yesterday, and the alarm was raised.
