The High Court has refused bail to two men charged with kidnapping the murdered Limerick criminal figure, Kieran Keane.
Anthony McCarthy of the Fairgreen, Limerick, and Dessie Dundon of Hyde Road, Limerick, are also charged with falsely imprisoning Owen Treacy, a nephew of Kieran Keane's.
Tight security surrounded their appearance in the High Court in Dublin. It is alleged that they are part of the ongoing Limerick feud.
Bail was opposed by the State and after the short hearing the two men were taken immediately back to prison.
