Guerrillas from the Colombian Marxist group, the National Liberation Army, have killed a woman whose father refused to murder a right wing paramilitary.
Twenty-five-year-old teacher Ana Cecilia Deque was kidnapped as she went to school on Monday.
The guerrillas then sent her father a note saying they did not want a ransom, but instead expected him to kill a paramilitary fighter in the same town of Cocorna in the northern province of Antioquia.
He was given two days to complete the task. When the man refused, the guerrillas executed his daughter, whose body was found with gunshots outside the town.
