UK television presenter Matthew Kelly has been released on bail by detectives investigating allegations of child abuse, Surrey Police said.
The 52-year-old host of the ITV programme 'Stars in Their Eyes' was arrested at a theatre in Birmingham and was taken to Guildford Police Station following allegations of sexual abuse against young boys.
It is believed the allegations relate to incidents in the 1970s.
A second man, aged in his late 50s, was arrested at his home in Edinburgh in connection with similar allegations.
He has been named in media reports as Tam Paton, the former manager of the 1970s pop group, The Bay City Rollers.
