Gardaí investigating the murder of a 34-year-old father of two in Limerick believe he may have been targeted by a drugs gang in the city.
Brian Fitzgerald was head of security at a city centre nightclub.
He was shot dead outside his home at Mill Road in Corbally early this morning.
Witnesses said they heard a number of shots. It is understood two men were involved in the attack.
Mr Fitzgerald was pronounced dead at the scene.
