The Arabic television station, al-Jazeera, has broadcast an audio tape which it claims was recorded by Osama bin Laden.
The message warns of more attacks against the United States unless Washington halts its preparations for war against Iraq.
No one has been able to confirm the authenticity of this or previous recorded messages but the Chief Editor of al-Jazeera, Ibrahim Halal, said he believed it was genuine.
