Police in the North have warned a number of Derry Republicans, including Sinn Féin chairman, Mitchell McLaughlin, that their lives may be in danger following the discovery of what is believed to be a hit list.
A party spokesman confirmed that Mr McLaughlin was contacted by police in Derry and advised to review his security.
A PSNI spokesman said that all people on the list will be offered advice about their personal safety.
A 38-year-old man is due to appear at Londonderry Magistrates Court tomorrow charged with possession of information likely to be of use to terrorists.
