Three units of the fire brigade dealt with a fire at a car breakers yard at the West Pier, Dun Laoghaire this afternoon. Smoke from the blaze, which started about 2.30 pm, could be seen for miles along the coast.
Gardai are investigating reports that four youths were seen running from the yard, Southside Motor Spares, at about the time the fire started.
