A 58-year-old man appeared before Enniskillen Magistrates Court today, accused of killing 15-year-old Arlene Arkinson.
The teenager from Castlederg in County Tyrone, disappeared eight years ago after going to a disco across the border in Bundoran in August 1994.
No trace of her was ever found, despite extensive searches on both sides of the border.
The accused man, who has been named as Robert Howard, was arrested in England earlier this week and was taken to Northern Ireland for questioning.
He was remanded to appear at Omagh Magistrates Court on June 18.
