The North's Chief Constable has said police have not ruled out the possibility that the IRA was responsible for the killing of Castlewellan man Mathew Burns outside the town on Thursday night. Sir Ronnie Flanagan was speaking at the official opening of a new police station at Moira.
Twenty-six-year-old Matthew Burns was a passenger in a car driven by his brother Patrick, who was wounded in the attack near the Bridge bar on the Burrenbridge Road.
