A woman has been released without charge after being questioned in connection with the death of a man in Dundalk yesterday.
The man, who was in his late 30s, was found dead at a house by Gardaí and an ambulance crew that had been called to the scene.
Preliminary post mortem results show the man died of stab wounds to the chest. A file is being sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
