Britain accused of ignoring collusion cases deal

The widow of the murdered Northern solicitor Pat Finucane has accused the British government of ignoring its agreement with the government here to appoint an international judge to review cases which had given rise to serious allegations of security force collusion with paramilitaries.

Geraldine Finucane made the comments at an international human rights conference for the Frontline organisation in Dublin.

The brother of another murdered lawyer, Rosemary Nelson, has also expressed concern about the delay. At the gathering, the Taoiseach met the families of Rosemary Nelson and Pat Finnucane.
