Police in the North investigating the murder of a retired police officer are questioning three people.
The body of William Kennedy, who was 65, was discovered at his home in Ahoghill, County Antrim, by his daughter on Christmas Eve.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland said that Mr Kennedy, a former sergeant, suffered a brutal and vicious death.
