The High Court has lifted a stay on proceedings by the Oireachtas sub committee investigating cost overruns in the CIE rail signalling project. The inquiry was halted when the widow of the former Chief Executive, Michael McDonnell, won a High Court order stopping its work. Lawyers for Noreen McDonnell are considering an appeal.
