FBI pursuing 200,000 leads

The FBI says that it is pursuing more than 200,000 leads in the attacks earlier this month on New York and Washington. Today, it released photographs of the 19 suspected hijackers.

The FBI says that some of them had links to the network controlled by prime suspect Osama bin Laden. In another development, the Attorney General John Ashcroft told a news conference that copies of a letter found in the course of the investigations gave a disturbing and shocking view of the mindset of the hijackers.
