Two Brazilians have admitted to killing six Portuguese businessmen. The businessmen's bodies were discovered on Friday. They had been buried in sand outside a seafront bar in Fortaleza in Brazil.
The men, who were security guards at the bar, said that the bar owner was behind the murders. The security guards admitted to the murders after they were arrested on Friday. The bar owner is also in custody.
They said that he enlisted their help and the help of three others in murdering the businessmen by clubbing, shooting and strangling them. The bar owner, who is Portuguese, has denied the claims.
The six businessmen arrived in Brazil on 12 August. They were met at the airport by the bar owner. It is reported that he was a friend of one of the men. The six never booked into their hotel.
