Flood hears Lawlor to appeal High Court ruling

Liam Lawlor has confirmed to the Flood Tribunal that he is to appeal the High Court ruling. That process will begin in the Supreme Court on Friday. Mr Lawlor appeared briefly before the Flood Tribunal this morning in compliance with the High Court order. Last night, the TD delivered nine lever arch folders and a number of files to the Tribunal office and this morning he stood briefly before Mr Justice Flood. But any evidence Mr Lawlor may give has been adjourned for one week. Mr Lawlor had to appear before the Tribunal by today - otherwise he would have been in contempt of court.
