Two men arrested in connection with the Omagh bombing have been released tonight without charge. They were arrested in County Louth two days ago. Another man is still being held. Gardai arrested the man in his 20s under the Offences Against the State Act this morning. He is the fourth man to be arrested this week by the team of detectives investigating the bombing.
Last night a special sitting of Ardee District Court extended the time Gardaí could continue to question the two men they arrested on Tuesday morning by 24 hours. Another man arrested at the same time was released without charge last night.
