A 51-year-old father-of-three died in hospital after being stabbed in a County Antrim pub, police said today. Officers named the victim as Robert McNeice, of Mount Royal in Lisburn, who had two daughters in their 20s and a 12-year-old son. Another man was arrested after the incident, which happened in the County Down Arms on Hillhall Road, Lisburn.
The stabbing is not believed to have been sectarian or in any way linked to the Loyalist feud. Police appealed for anyone who was in the pub at any time last night or in the vicinity between 1.15am and 1.45am to contact them on 028 90650222 or ring Crimestoppers 0800 555111.
