A 20-year-old man is due in court in Belfast tomorrow, charged with murdering a woman who vanished after a night out in the city. The man was arrested on Thursday following the discovery of the body of Maria McConnell in an unoccupied house in the city's University area. Her disappearance more than two weeks ago led to one of the North's biggest missing person inquiries. Her parents, who are from Coolnasilla Park in West Belfast, made numerous public appeals for help in tracing her.
