A 43-year-old swimming instructor has been charged with 30 offences of indecently assaulting two girls over a three-year period. The accused appeared before Dun Laoghaire District Court this morning. The man was remanded in custody with consent to bail. The offences are alleged to have occurred in County Dublin between June 1 1976 and January 25 1979. He is due to appear in court next Friday.
