A 21-year-old Dublin man has been charged with the murder of Derek Benson last weekend. The 33-year-old father of one was stabbed to death in his flat at Sandyhill Avenue in Ballymun in the early hours of last Sunday morning. Paul Hopkins of Sillogue Road in Ballymun, Dublin was charged with Mr Benson's murder at Dublin District Court this morning. He was remanded in custody for a week.
