The Sinn Fein leader, Gerry Adams has warned party members to be vigilant after the party's chief negotiator Martin McGuinness received a death threat. It is understood Mr McGuinness was informed by the RUC yesterday, that a threat had been made by telephone to a Belfast newspaper. Reports say the threat was made by an organisation previously unknown to the RUC. A number of Sinn Fein councillors in Belfast and Lisburn have been the subject of similar threats in recent weeks.
